Associate Professor, Pediatric Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology

Dr. Moran is a pediatric allergist and immunologist whose research focuses on how environmental exposures contribute to the development of allergic diseases such as asthma and food allergies. The goals of his research are to identify the key environmental agents that promote allergic sensitization, and to define the molecular and cellular pathways that regulate immune responses to these environmental agents. Through these research endeavors, Dr. Moran hopes to identify potential therapeutic targets for environment-mediated diseases, and to facilitate the development of environmental interventions aimed at mitigating the risk of allergic disease in children.
