Respect Life

At Marquette University, we strive to promote a culture of life that respects the inherent dignity of all, especially those awaiting to be born, the poor, elderly, sick/infirm, immigrants, LGBTQ+ persons, and prisoners. Join our on-campus Respect Life efforts.

Respect Life

Members of the Marquette community are invited to explore questions surrounding human life. This exploration should challenge the partisan limitations of our culture and allow us to focus on the invitation of the Gospel. During the academic year, particular Respect Life themes are highlighted through campus programs and activities. Through these initiatives, we invite reflection on ways each of us can better live as men and women for and with others.

Some particular themes for exploration:

Respect Life Week: October 22-28

Take time during the week of October 22-28 to reflect in thanksgiving for the gift of life, explore ways to support the flourishing of the human family and all of creation, and participate in opportunities to gather in prayer on campus.

Monday, October 23: Rosary for Life at 7 p.m. in the St. Joan of Arc Chapel

Tuesday, October 24: Mass for Life at 10 p.m. in the St. Joan of Arc Chapel
