Apply Now for UK Women's Forum Employee Educational Assistance Award

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 9, 2017)  The University of Kentucky Women’s Forum has announced that applications are now being accepted for the UK Women’s Forum Employee Educational Assistance Award (EEAA). This award provides a $250 reimbursement to eligible UK employees to assist with the cost of books and/or other materials, supplies and fees related to their UK coursework. This award complements the existing tuition waiver program for UK employees, the Employee Education Program (EEP).

The deadline for fall 2017 applications is Aug. 28. Applicants must be regular, full-time employees (0.75 FTE or greater) and have submitted an EEP form. More information regarding requirements and the selection process is available on the UK Women's Forum website.

"The EEAA allowed me to focus on what's important instead of worrying about making ends meet," said Katie Dick, EEAA scholarship recipient. "This scholarship empowers women to reach their potential so they can make a difference in their field of work. This year I will present my research at the Division of Early Childhood Annual International Conference in October. The EEAA helped me achieve this dream."
